一位身著淡黃綠色戲袍的年輕旦角佇立在青花瓷瓶旁，瓶中玫瑰盛放——深紅、粉嫩與鵝黃色的花朵呼應著琥珀色背景散發的暖意。厲家恩以崑曲旦角特有的鵝蛋臉、彎眉和含蓄微笑描繪這位表演者，精緻的頭飾點綴著微型牡丹與垂落的藍色流蘇。藝術家幾乎完全以油畫刀上色，在花卉排列中堆砌厚實的紋理脊線，卻讓人物的肌膚保持光滑細膩——這是自然的繁茂與舞臺端莊之間刻意營造的張力。1947年生於上海，中國美術家協會深圳分會會員的厲家恩，數十年來致力於將中國古典戲曲的短暫之美轉化為油畫的永恆。他2006年的崑曲人物畫個展和2002年在日內瓦的展覽，確立了他作為東方戲劇傳統與西方繪畫技法之間獨特橋樑的地位。
